New Dates Released for the Spring

NEW DATES ANNOUNCED FOR FUNCTIONAL WORKSHOPS

Functional therapy expert John Richardson has announced the latest round of dates of his innovative and popular rehabilitation workshops.

The seminars, which take place in spring next year at venues across the north, are aimed at physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and experienced personal trainers wanting to explore creative rehabilitation and conditioning techniques.

During the course of the workshops, Hull-based John will cover a range of topics including how the core really operates and how it protects the lower back; why feet are the missing link in rehab; who is the shoulder's best friend, and; how to use almost any piece of equipment to design effective training programmes.

Rehabilitation professionals attending the workshops will come away with a host of new ideas about how to get their clients fitter, faster.

The seminars kick off on Sunday, March 20, at the David Lloyd Health Club in Hull, when John will look at Functional Neck, Functional Flexibility and Functional Nutrition.

Functional Core, Feet and Shoulder will be examined in workshops in Sheffield on Sunday, March 27; Saturday, April 2, at David Lloyd Health Club in York; Sunday, April 3, David Lloyd Health Club in Leeds, and; Sunday, April 17, in Manchester (venue to be confirmed).

John said: "The workshops will explore creative rehabilitation and conditioning techniques which are based around your client or patient's movements in their sport and in their everyday lives.

"It is a different approach to the age old and much-used exercises and strategies that form the basis of tradition rehabilitation lore, but one which yields faster and more effective results."
